With Ghost being injured many want Myers up. How do they get the roster spot? Can't see them waiving McKenna with Stolie's injury history.

Ghost will only miss one more game, two max. They won't call up Myers yet. If it were an IR situation, they probably would call up Myers.

Thanks Bill.

That's kind of how I see it. They probably stay steady as she goes with the roster from tonight's game. Only using both goalies.

Coots is a great defender and a decent playmaker. I really like the guy, but it seems like he is more suited as a 2C or more likely a shut down 3C, than a first line, stud center. Is it me, or am I looking at it all wrong? He had the one year where he lit it up, but has seemed to go backwards. Could he still be nursing the knee injury? Just wondering what Bill and the posters here think?

He is leading the team in goals and is second in points. What more do you want?

Could be the knee? Could also be the fact that they moved G back to center? I'm not closing the book on him as 1c because of this season.

Is he on pace to hit last year's totals?

he is on pace to score more goals, but probably will fall short on assists. But not by a significant margin.

This is all you can ask for, can't expect a career year every year.

if they were to IR ghost wouldnt they just make it retroactive to the game before the allstar break/bye week?

He was in warm up so I don't think that's allowed

Hearing a bruise from this morning is the injury. Wonder if the dogs tripped him.

I’m not either. Just seems a bit off, and he doesn’t have softest hands. Must be the knee. I was hoping he would pick up where he left off prior to the end of last season. He was so tough to play against! Everything he touched hit the back of the net.

GF pace is 237 over 82 games. That's 14 less than last season

GA pace is 270. Which is 37 more than last year.

With scoring up league wide those numbers are very indicative of the slide in standings. As much as everyone is blaming the goalies and defense. Really if goal scoring is up league wide they shouldn't be in a negative on goals for.

Coots and G are on pace of last season. So who's the slackers? JvR is more than covering Filp

said it before, the Flyers will go on a run, they have nice pieces. We will have to accept where they land in the draft. I think they end up 5 points out of a playoff spot

Love that Sanheim keeps getting the minutes, nice to see Provy solid. Tk and JVR look good

go figure, Hart then Stollie, who knows what happens but it is the best I have felt about a 1-2 in years

by the way, don't dare to hope

Muzzin thoughts? seems to be a decent price for a top 4 D

Provorov and ghost are having down years. Patrick as well. Not getting enough secondary scoring.

Hart was excellent again. It is great to finally have a goalie that any goals that are scored against him are ones that no one would stop or ones that would be extremely difficult. No goals that I could stop (and I haven’t put the pads on in 15 years)!

I think Provy and everyone else is more confident because of that. Earlier this year Provy seemed to be hesitant to make a mistake because any shot could result in a goal. Now he has a goalie he can trust!

Ghost out of lineup? Instantly improved overall defense!
